The Pro3 is a laser-powered LiDAR scanner that captures data in 360° with superb quality.
The 20MP sensor with a custom 12-element lens covers an ultra-wide angle, producing accurate, detailed digital twins.
No manual stitching of scans is needed, the Matterport digital twin technology does it for you.
The Pro3 is fast, suitable for large areas, and works outdoors regardless of lighting conditions.
Scan and capture your spaced and convert them into virtual 3d models for digital tours, analysis, and even VR presentations.
Using the Matterport API you can connect with Google Street View, and other services such as real estate, or modeling websites.
Quickly generate floorplans from existing spaces. Use the Matterport App and cloud service to take measurements and tag details.
Matterport camera Pro2 users can work in tandem with a Pro3 on the same model to increase range, point density, and accuracy.
Capture as-built data in a matter of minutes—far faster than manual methods and more quickly than terrestrial LiDAR scanners—and generate shareable digital twins. Export dimensional information into CAD and make it easier to start design proposals faster than ever.
The Pro3 LiDAR camera requires that you have a Professional plan or higher Matterport subscription.
Because the Pro3 users LiDAR, sunlight is no longer an issue. And, the upgraded camera and software allows one single, high-quality model for full-Sun captures. This is also greatly beneficial for capturing digital twin data from large areas including exteriors, stadiums, and more.
The Pro3 has an error rate of around 20mm at a 10 meter range. There are many factors that go into determining scanning accuracy, depending on the use of the model.
The exact number of scan positions is dependent on the power and storage of the mobile device that you are using as your scan controller for your Matterport Pro3. The more free memory and resources the device has, the greater the number of scan points you can gather.
Each 360 degree rotation takes less than 20 seconds to complete. For indoor scans, you can follow the same best practices for scanning on the Pro2. For outdoor scanning, or capturing large spaces, the increased range of the Pro3 captures more data per scan. It is advised not to exceed 8m distance between scan setups for outdoor scans.
A fully charged Pro3 battery lasts about 230 scans.
