Long battery life - get about 230 scans
Scan the world around you and create digital twins with the Matterport MC300 Pro3 3D Digital Camera. Add incredible value to your architectural, engineering, and construction data using precise LiDAR scanning.
Scan and capture your spaces and convert them into virtual 3d models for digital tours, analysis, and even VR presentations.
Quickly generate floorplans from existing spaces. Use the Matterport App and cloud service to take measurements and tag details.
Capture as-built data in minutes—far faster than manual methods and more quickly than terrestrial LiDAR scanners—and generate shareable digital twins. Export dimensional information into CAD and make it easier to start design proposals faster than ever.
The Pro3 LiDAR camera requires that you have a Professional plan or a higher Matterport subscription.
Because of the Pro3 user's LiDAR, sunlight is no longer an issue. And the upgraded camera and software allow one single, high-quality model for full-Sun captures. This is also incredibly beneficial for capturing digital twin data from large areas, including exteriors, stadiums, and more.
The Pro3 has an error rate of around 20mm at a 10-meter range. Many factors determine scanning accuracy, depending on the use of the model.
The exact number of scan positions depends on the power and storage of the mobile device you are using as your scan controller for your Matterport Pro3. The more free memory and resources the device has, the greater the number of scan points you can gather.
Each 360-degree rotation takes less than 20 seconds to complete. For indoor scans, you can follow the same best practices for scanning on the Pro2. For outdoor scanning or capturing large spaces, the increased range of the Pro3 captures more data per scan. It is advised not to exceed the 8m distance between scan setups for outdoor scans.
